Make sure the machine is warmed-up and refluxing, but not currently
running parts.
Follow the menus on the operator interface to enter the manual mode.
Turn the pump off via the menu on the interface. This will protect the
pump from running dry when the solvent is drained.
Open the immersion sump drain valve, and drain at least half of the
solvent in the immersion sump into a clean, sealable container appropriate
for the solvent being used. Close the immersion sump drain valve.
Since the immersion sump liquid level is now well below the weir, the
distilled solvent will collect in the immersion sump, and none will flow
back over into the boil sump.
At some point, the machine will alarm for low solvent level in the boil
sump. This will automatically shut-off the heaters, and turn the control
power off to the machine (the refrigeration will remain on).
Drain the now minimized contents of the boil sump into and a waste
container appropriate for the solvent being used.
Make sure the drain is closed on the boil sump.
Pour clean solvent from step #4 into the immersion sump.
Add clean solvent to the immersion sump until the boil sump is at the
correct operating level.
Clear the low boil sump alarm on the operator interface.
Press the control power button.
Press the "Auto" button on the interface and wait until the display reads
"System is at Temperature."
The machine is now ready to run parts.
