3-1. MECHA JIGU MODE

There are two items "TROUBLE" and "SENSOR" in
MECHA JIGU MODE.

3-1-1. Startup Procedure

1. Turn on the power switch while pressing the
[DISPLAY] and [EXEC] buttons simultaneously.
MECHA JIGU MODE starts up.

When "MECHA JIGU MODE" is displayed on LCD,
you can release the [DISPLAY] and [EXEC] buttons.

Shifting cursor:
Use the [&], [(],[*] and [)] buttons.
Shifting between menus (TROUBLE and SENSOR):
Use the [&] and [*] buttons.

3-1-3. Menu Description

MECHA JIGU MODE is divided into the following two
items.

. SENSOR
The description of each item in TROUBLE and SENSOR
is as follows.

Troubleshooting

TROUBLE
The contents and history of error can be checked by this
menu. Also the same error information is written in the
Memory Stick inserted in this unit at the same time. For
details, refer to Section 3-2.
You can clear the error history by pressing the [CLEAR]
and [EXEC] buttons simultaneously while TROUBLE
menu is displayed. After clearing the error information,
also clear the RECORD file in the Memory Stick.

Be sure to clear the error history after replacing the
mechanical main unit assembly.
Screen example
DATA
The past error history (20 errors) is displayed by number. It
is displayed using the number from 01 to 20. The smaller
number represents the later error.
ID
The ID number of the past error is displayed. The larger
number represents the later error.
CODE
The error code is displayed. For details, refer to Section 3-3.
RIBBON SN
The serial number of ribbon loaded in this unit at the time
of error is displayed.
RIBBON REM
The remaining amount of ribbon loaded in this unit at the
time of error is displayed.
TTL PRINT
The total print count of this unit at the time of error is
displayed.
