3 Prepare and do servicing on the product

3.1 Servicing schedule

Product
Do a general inspection.
Clean the product.
Clean the transmission covers. Make sure that the motor does
not have grass on it.
Examine the drive wheels.
Do a general lubrication.
Do a check of the start inhibitor.
Make sure that the safety devices on the product are not defec-
tive.
Examine the cutting equipment.
Examine the cutting cover.
Do a check of the motor brake handle.
Make sure that the bail arm functions correctly.
Make sure that the ON/OFF switch operates correctly.
Clean and examine grass catcher.
Clean the filters and the air outlet.
Clean under the drive cover.
Accessory
Examine the battery for damage.
Do a check of the battery charge.
Make sure that the release button on the battery operates cor-
rectly and that the battery locks into the product.
Examine the battery charger for damage and make sure that it
operates correctly.
Examine the connections between the battery and the product.
Examine the connection between the battery and the battery
charger.
