Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS)

The adaptive front lighting system (AFS) helps to improve visibility during nighttime
driving. The AFS optimizes the distribution of light from the low beam headlights
according to the degree to which the steering wheel is turned when the vehicle is
rounding a curve.

Operating the System
The system activates when the following conditions have been met:
• The power mode is in ON.
• The low beam headlights are on.
• The vehicle speed is above 25 mph (40 km/h).
