2. Start writing a word using the keys 2 to 9. Press each key only once for one
letter. You must switch to the input method that the first letter is capital,
then you can enter out the word Nokia.
The following illustration shows your text entry of the word Nokia in
predictive text mode. With the English dictionary selected, press each of the
following number keys once, and the screen will display Nokia by predicting
the appropriate letter to use based on your keypad entry:

3. When you finish writing the word and it is correct, to confirm it and add a
space, press 0 to insert a space for confirmation.
If the word is not correct, press * repeatedly until the desired word appears,
and confirm it; or select
If the ? character is displayed after the word, the word you intended
to write is not in the dictionary. To add the word to the dictionary,
select
Spell. The phone displays the entered letters. Complete the word using
traditional text input, and select Save.
■ Change case and mode
Press # to switch between uppercase, lowercase, and sentence case text. As you
press #, the following icons (not the descriptions) appear in the upper left of the
display screen:.
Uppercase text: standard mode is on.
Lowercase text: standard mode is on.
Sentence case text: standard mode is on. This option is available only
at the beginning of a sentence.
Note: You can press # within 2 seconds to switch between standard
mode and predictive text mode.
Lowercase text: predictive text is on.
Sentence case text: predictive text is on. This option is available only
at the beginning of a sentence.
