to delete one letter to the left of the cursor. Press and hold
to delete letters to the left of the cursor more quickly.
■ Enter space
To insert a space, press 0.
If you are under number mode, please switch to any other input mode first. (See
"Switch between input methods" on page 20.)
■ Enter number
• Switch the input method to number mode (See "Switch between input
methods" on page 20.), and then enter the number directly by pressing the
responding number key.
• If you are under "Predictive English" or "Traditional English" input mode, you
can enter number by pressing the responding number key.
• If you are under "Traditional English" input mode, press the responding
number key till the number you desired appears on the display.
■ Enter special characters and punctuation marks
• If you are under Pinyin, Stroke, Traditional English or Number input method,
press * to view the list of special characters and punctuation marks, scroll to
the desired one, then press OK.
To scroll through the list more quickly, press 2, 4, 6 or 8 and then press
enter.
• If you are under Pinyin or Traditional English input mode, press 1 repeatedly
to enter some frequently used Chinese or English punctuation marks.
■ Predictive English input
With predictive English input, you can enter any letter in the word you want by
simply pressing the responding number key. The predictive English input is based
on a built-in dictionary to which you can also add new words.
1. At text entry screen, select
Dictionary off
to activate or deactivate predictive English input.
If the predictive English input is on, select the desired language.
