Watching TV

Parental rate

This function allows TV channels to be restricted.
It prevents children from watching violent or sexual
scenes that may be considered inappropriate.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 in Setting a password.

Parental Content is such that parents may
guidance and not want their children to view the

Mature and Mature audience only. This programme
above (M) is specifically designed to be viewed by
adults and therefore may be unsuitable
for children under 15.
Mature adult Mature adult only. This programme is

(MA) adults and therefore may be unsuitable
for children under 15.
Adult Not for children under age 15. Strong
violence and elements of sex and/or violence.

Programme title display

This function allows you to display programme
information on the screen including the title and airtime
by tuning a channel.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

• The Programme title display function is only available for
the DTV mode.

Description

Key lock

This function allows you to lock the buttons on the
TV or remote control in order to prohibit children from
changing the channel or volume.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

Press c / d to select "Option".

Press a / b to select "Key lock", and then

press ENTER.
Press a / b to select "RC control lock" or

"Button control lock", and then press ENTER.

Off Unlock the buttons.
RC control Lock all buttons on the remote control.

Button Lock the TV buttons except the power
control lock switch.
NOTE
• You cannot set both "RC control lock" and "Button control
lock" at the same time.
H Cancelling the lock
To cancel "RC control lock" follow the below steps
using the TV control panel buttons on the TV.
Press MENU on the TV and VOL k /VOL l to

select "Option".
Press CH r / s to select "Key lock", and

then press TV/VIDEO.
Press CH r / s to select "Off", and then

press TV/VIDEO.
NOTE
• See page 19 for the functions of the TV control panel
buttons.
• To cancel "Button control lock", use the remote
control.
