Descriptions and Functions

Front Panel
1. BNC Antenna Connector - Connect the antennas here. To attach, press and twist clockwise until the connector latches.
To detach, press and twist counter-clockwise.
2. AF Indicator LED - These LEDs will turn on when the UHF-28 detects an audio signal from the wireless microphones.
(When the wireless microphones are spoken or sung into)
3. Volume Dial - This dial is used to adjust the volume of the wireless mic on this channel. Turn the dial clockwise to
increase the volume and counter-clockwise to de

4. Power/Volume Dial - This dial will turn on the UHF-28. Turn the dial clockwise, it will click, turning the unit on. When
the UHF-28 is on, this dial is used to adjust the volume of the wireless mic on this channel. Turn the dial clockwise to

5. RF Indicator LED - These LEDs will light up when the UHF-28 detects a wireless signal from the wireless microphones
when they are switched on. If an RF indicator LED does not light up when its microphone is turned on, check the
batteries in that microphone, and make sure that the antennas are connected securely.
6. Power Indicator LED - This LED will turn on when the UHF-28 is powered on. The Power/Volume dial is used to switch
the UHF-28 on and off.
Rear Panel
1. Multi-Purpose Jack - When using the UHF-28 as a plug-in module, connect the multi-purpose cable from the plug-in slot
to this jack. When using the UHF-28 as a stand-alone unit, this multi-purpose jack is not used.
2. Power Connector - When using the UHF-28 as a stand-alone unit, connect the power adapter here. When using the
UHF-28 as a plug-in module, this power connector jack is not used.
NOTE: Plugging in the power adapter when using the UHF-28 as a plug-in module may result in damage to the UHF-28.
3. 1/4" MIC OUT Jack - When using the UHF-28 as a stand-alone unit, connect a cable from this jack to the mic input on
your mixer or other device. When using the UHF-28 as a plug-in module, this mic out jack is not used.
