Maintenance and Care

The following intervals apply for normal operating conditions. The specified intervals
must be shortened accordingly when working for longer than normal or under difficult
cutting conditions (extensive dust, etc.).
Complete machine
Control handle
Air filter
Fuel tank
Manual fuel pump (if present)
Fuel pickup body in fuel tank
Carburetor
Spark plug
Intake port for cooling air
Cylinder fins
All accessible screws, nuts and bolts (not
adjusting screws)
Anti-vibration elements
HL 94, HL 94 K
Visual inspection (safe condition, leaks)
Clean
Replace any damaged parts
Function test
Visual inspection
Clean the filter housing
1)
Replace the felt filter
Clean
check
Have repaired by a specialist dealer
2)
Have checked by dealer
2)
Have replaced by servicing dealer
Check idle setting, the cutting blades
must not move
Adjust idle speed
Set electrode gap
Replace after every 100 hours of
operation
Visual inspection
Clean

Have cleaned by dealer
Tighten
