Power Windows

Switch group fo r power w indow s:
1 left, front
2 left, rear
3 right, front
4 right, rear
5 Safety switch
The power windows can be operated
w ith the key in steering lock position
1 or 2.
All fo u r w indow s can then be oper­
ated using the sw itches in the center
console. The rear do o r w indow s can
also be operated using the switches
(6) in each rear d oor panel.
If inadvertent operation o f the rear
window s (for instance by children) is
to be prevented, push safety switch
(5) to the right (symbol becom es visi­
ble).
Warning!
When leaving the car always remove
the key from the steering lock. Do
not leave children unattended in the
vehicle. Unsupervised use of power
windows can cause serious per­
sonal injury.

Shelf below Rear Window

Warning!
The shelf below the rear window
should not be used to carry objects.
This will prevent such objects from
being thrown about and injuring
vehicle occupants during an acci­
dent or sudden maneuver.
