Install the ink tanks.

Prepare the ink tanks.
Black
Remove the protective
cap and discard it.

Close the inner cover
the scan unit w.

Lift it upward.

Load the paper.

Open the multi-purpose tray.

Pull out the tray extension of the

paper output tray.

Pull it out until it stops.

Insert the ink tanks.
Insert the black ink
tank into the right slot.
Do not touch!

Lower it into place.

Open the tray.

Pull up the tray
extension until it stops.
Click
Push it in until it
locks into place.
NOTE
Incorrectly
installed

Load the paper.

Load the paper with the print side face up.

Pinch and adjust the
paper guide to the
width of the stack.
Insert the color ink
tank into the left slot.
Correctly
installed
Ensure the paper stack does
not exceed paper limit mark.
