Safety guidelines for operation

Danger to persons in areas with rotary and crushing motion
Machine parts driven by the torque motors can cause substantial injury, e.g. by crushing.
This is due to the very high speeds and acceleration rates, as well as low friction and self
clamping.
NOTICE
Material damage caused by incorrect operation
Improper operation can lead to serious material damage.

WARNING
Keep persons away from axis rotating parts and areas where there is a danger of
crushing.
Only operate the motor at installations equipped with full weather protection: The
environment must be dry and protected against heat and cold.
Keep the area where the motor is installed free of all foreign bodies. Foreign bodies
include metal chips, particles, liquids, oils, screws, tools, etc.
Ensure that the torque motor cooling system functions perfectly.
Only operate the motor in conjunction with effective thermal protection.
