Up to 64 Optical I/O Units can be connected to one Master on a C500. If more
than 32 Units are connected to the same Master, a Repeater Unit must be in-
stalled after the first 32 Units.

Up to 64 Units, consisting of Optical I/O Units and up to two Slaves, can be con-
nected to one Master on a C500. If more than 32 Units are connected to the
same Master, a Repeater Unit must be installed after the first 32 Units. The
Slave's I/O Units are not counted in the 32, but the I/O points must be counted in
the total I/O points.
