7. Einstellung der Analogwerte
Auslieferungszustand nach ATS (Optimalwert).
Unterschreiten Sie für die nachfolgenden Analogwerte (Maximal-
wert 63) den Minimalwert lt. Tabelle, wird beim Einschalten des
Gerätes oder Wechsel von HF –> AV der Optimalwert initialisiert.

Bei der Lautstärke-Einstellung < 8, erscheint beim Einschalten des
Gerätes der Lautstärkebalken.
Mit "AUX" –> "OK" können die werksseitigen analogen Auslieferwerte
für die Ton- und Bildeinstellungen und, falls vorhanden, die Anzeige-
helligkeit des VFD-Display wiederhergestellt werden.
Die Optimalwerte stammen bei einem Start mit dem Notdatensatz aus
dem EPROM IC87030. Bei Normalstart werden die Optimalwerte aus
dem EEPROM IC87080 geladen.
8. PIP-Betrieb
Je nach Gerätekonfiguration unterscheidet sich die Bedienung.
a: ohne PIP-Baustein mit PIP-Bild der Feature-Box.
b: PIP-Baustein ohne PIP-Tuner und ohne Megalogic-Videorecorder
c: PIP-Baustein ohne PIP-Tuner und mit Megalogic-Videorecorder
d: PIP-Baustein mit PIP-Tuner (PAL, SECAM, NTSC).
Die Taste "PIP" ruft das PIP-Menü auf.
- Der AV-Monitor startet mit dem AV- bzw. Programmplatz der zuletzt
als PIP-Bild eingestellt war.
- Mit den Tasten
wird die PIP-Quelle angewählt.
Zeigt das Großbild einen AV-Platz, sind alle Programm- (evtl. nur bis
zum Umkehrpunkt C 00) und AV-Plätze anwählbar. In der Konfigu-
ration a. und b. sind bei der SAT-Aufnahme alle AV-Plätze und der
SAT-Aufnahmeplatz anwählbar, jedoch keine terrestrischen Pro-
gramme.
- Mit der Format- und "AKT"-Taste können Sie die PIP-Position bzw.
die PIP-Bildgröße verändern.
- PIP-Positionsabgleich siehe Seite 1-4, Kapitel 1.5.
Hinweis: VGA kann nicht als PIP-Bild eingeblendet werden.

Hinweise:
- Es ist nicht möglich über die Hosiden- und Cinch-Anschlußbuchsen
(AV 4) gleichzeitig Signale einzuspeisen.
- Sind bei AV- bzw. PIP-Anwahl schon alle Videowege belegt, z.B.
weil Copy aktiv ist, wird dies erkannt und auf die nächste technisch
mögliche AV-Stellung geschaltet.
- Bei Ländereinstellung Italien hat eine AV-RGB-Einspeisung mit
Austastsignal (Pin 16) Vorrang.
- Bei allen AV-Stellungen erscheint kein blauer Bildschirm

7. Setting the Analog Values
State of delivery is after execution of ATS (optimum value).
When exceeding the minimum possible analog values (maximum
value is 63) as specified in the table below, the optimum value is
initialised when switching the TV on or changing from RF –> AV.

If the volume is set to a value < 8, the volume scale appears on the
screen when switching the TV on.
The factory default analog values for the picture and sound settings and
the brightness of the VFD display, as far as provided, can be recalled
by pressing the "AUX" –> "OK" buttons.
The optimum values are read out from EPROM IC87030 when starting
the TV with the emergency data set. On normal start, the optimum
values from EEPROM IC87080 are loaded.
8. PIP Operation
The operation differs with the configuration of the TV set.
a: without PIP module with PIP picture from the Feature Box.
b: PIP module without PIP tuner and without Megalogic video recorder
c: PIP module without PIP tuner and with Megalogic video recorder
d: PIP module with PIP tuner (PAL, SECAM, NTSC).
The "PIP" button calls up the PIP menu.
- The AV monitor starts with the AV or programme position last used
in PIP mode.
- The
When the normal picture shows an AV position, all programme
positions (or else only up to the reversing point C 00) and AV positions
are selectable. With the configurations a. and b., on SAT recording, all
AV positions as well as the SAT position being recorded can be
selected but terrestrial programmes cannot.
- The PIP position and PIP size can be changed with the format and
"AKT" button.
- Instructions for adjusting the PIP position are given on page 1-4,,
chapter 1.5.
Note: VGA cannot be inserted as a PIP picture.

Notes:
- It is not possible to feed in signals at the same time via the Hosiden
and Cinch connecting sockets (AV 4).
- Should all video signal paths be in use on selection of AV or PIP
because Copy is active for example, this situation is identified and
the TV switches over to the next technically possible AV position.
- On selection of the country Italy in the menu, an AV-RGB signal with
blanking signal (Pin 16) has priority
- The blue screen background does not appear in all AV settings.
