3.12 Einschalten mit Testbild oder TV
Mit Taste " " das Menü "Einschalten mit Testbild oder TV" über
"DIALOGCENTER" –> "SERVICE FÜR DEN FACHHANDEL" aufru-
fen. In Stellung "Testbild" erscheint nach dem Wiedereinschalten am
Bildschirm ein geräteeigenes Testbild. Mit der Taste "TXT" schalten
Sie das Gerät in den Programm-Mode zurück (wird ca. 20s keine Taste
gedrückt, erscheint das Testbild wieder).
Abschalten des Testbild-Modes wieder über das Menü.
3.13 Nur für den Fachhändler
Mit Taste " " das Menü "Nur für den Fachhändler" über "DIALOG-
CENTER" –> "SERVICE FÜR DEN FACHHANDEL" aufrufen und mit
Taste "OK" bestätigen. Nach Eingabe der Codezahl "8500" kann der
Fachhandel den Geräteabgleich lt. Menüführung durchführen.
(Siehe Abgleich Kap. Abgleich, Seite 2-5).
4. Ton-Einstellungen
4.1 Tonumschaltung
Mit der blauen Taste das Menü "TON EINSTELLUNGEN" aufrufen. Je
nach Sender-Norm sind für die Tonumschaltung verschiedene Ein-
stellungen anwählbar:
- "Mono": bei reinen Mono-Sendungen
- "Mono A / Mono B": bei 2-Ton-Sendungen
- "Stereo / Mono": bei schlechtem Stereo-Ton kann auf Mono ge-
schaltet werden
- "Nicam / FM"
- "Nicam A / Nicam B / FM"
- "Nicam Stereo / FM"
4.2 Kopfhörer-Tonumschaltung
Mit der blauen Taste das Menü "TON EINSTELLUNGEN" aufrufen. Je
nach Sender-Norm sind für "Kopfhörer" verschiedene Einstellungen
anwählbar:
- "Mono A / B", unabhängig von den Lautsprechern
- "Nicam A / Nicam B / FM", unabhängig von den Lautsprechern
Bei allen anderen Einstellungen ist der Kopfhörerton mit dem
Lautsprecherton fest gekoppelt.
4.3 Programmplatzbezogene Lautstärkeeinstellung
Mit der blauen Taste das Menü "TON EINSTELLUNGEN" aufrufen.
Über "Lautstärke P ." wird mit den Tasten
programmplatzbezogen eingestellt (Lautstärke-Offset).
4.4 Ton-Effekte Pro Logic Phantom (nur mit Dolby Surround-Baustein)
Mit der blauen Taste das Menü "TON-EINSTELLUNGEN" aufrufen.
Unter "Toneffekte" sind mit den Tasten
Dolby-Toneffekte und Lautsprechereinstellungen über das Menü an-
wählbar.
Die Einstellungen "Toneffekte" werden nur gespeichert, wenn eine
manuelle Dolby-Umschaltung erfolgte. Nach automatischer Dolby-
Umschaltung (Sendung mit Dolby Surround wurde erkannt) werden
die Ton-Effekte nur temporär eingestellt.
Nach manueller Umschaltung geben "Netz aus" oder "Standby" die
automatische Dolby-Umschaltung wieder frei.
5. Bild-Einstellungen
5.1 Grundeinstellung
Mit der roten Taste das Menü "BILD-EINSTELLUNGEN" aufrufen.
Über die Menüführung sind die Einstellungen "Persönliche Werte",
"Am Tag", "Am Abend" und "Soft" anwählbar. Die "Persönliche Werte"-
Einstellung läßt eine Regulierung von Kontrast, Bildschärfe und Weiß-
balance zu. Die Bildschärfe-Einstellung wird programmplatzbezogen
verändert. In den anderen Einstellungen sind diese Werte fest vorge-
geben.
Abweichungen der Einstellungen gegenüber "Normal":
- "Am Tag": Vollkontrast und geänderte Weißbalance
- "Am Abend": reduzierter Kontrast und geänderte Weißbalance
- "Soft": veränderte Bildschärfe, Rauschreduktion und Kontrast
5.2. Bildschärfe
Mit der roten Taste das Menü "BILD-EINSTELLUNGEN" aufrufen und
"Bildschärfe P." anwählen.
Mit den Tasten
können Sie die Bildschärfe in drei Schritten
verändern.
5.3 Perfect Clear
Mit der roten Taste das Menü "BILD-EINSTELLUNGEN" aufrufen und
"Perfect Clear" anwählen.
Mit den Tasten
können Sie "Perfect Clear" ein- bzw. ausschalten.

3.12 Switching on with the Test Pattern or TV Mode
Call up the menu "Switch on with test pattern or TV", with the " " button
via "DIALOGCENTER" –> "SERVICE". On selection of "Test pattern"
an integrated test pattern will appear on the screen when switching the
TV on again. The "TXT" button is used to switch the TV back to
Programme Mode (if no other button is pressed during a period of ca.
20s the test pattern reappears).
The Test Pattern Mode can be switched off via the menu.
3.13 Only for the Retailer
Call up the menu "Only for the retailer" with the " " button via
"DIALOGCENTER" –> "SERVICE" and confirm with the "OK" button.
When entering the code number "8500" the dealer can adjust the TV
set according to the menu.

4. Sound Settings
4.1 Sound Switching:
Call up the "SOUND SETTINGS" menu with the blue button. Different
types of "Sound" are available dependent on the TV standard:
- "Mono": in the case of pure mono transmissions
- "Mono A / Mono B": in the case of 2-channel sound transmissions
- "Stereo / Mono": in the case of poor stereo sound quality, the sound
can be switched over to mono
- "Nicam / FM"
- "Nicam A / Nicam B / FM"
- "Nicam Stereo / FM"
4.2 Headphone Sound Switching
Call up the "SOUND SETTINGS" menu with the blue button. Depend-
ent on the TV standard, different settings are possible under "HP-
sound change over":
- "Mono A / B", independent of the loudspeakers
- "Nicam A / Nicam B / FM", independent of the loudspeakers
With all other options, separate selection of the sound for the head-
phones and loudspeakers is not possible.
4.3 Setting the Volume on a Per-Programme Basis
Call up the "SOUND SETTINGS" menu with the blue button.The
volume can be set for each individual programme position with
"Volume P ." (volume offset).
4.4 Sound Effects Pro Logic Phantom (only with Dolby Surround
Module)
Call up the "SOUND SETTINGS" menu with the blue button.
Under "Sound effects" different Dolby sound effects and loudspeaker
settings can be selected with the buttons
The settings under "Sound effects" are stored only on manual selection
of Dolby. When switching over to Dolby is effected automatically (on
identification of a transmission with Dolby Surround) the sound effects
are set only temporarily.
After manual selection of Dolby, the automatic Dolby switching mode
is reactivated when entering "Mains off" or "Standby".
5. Picture Settings
5.1 Basic Adjustment
Call up the "PICTURE SETTINGS" menu with the red button. Via the
menu guide, the following options can be selected: "Personal", "During
the day", "In the evening" and "Soft". The "Personal" option allows to
change the contrast, picture sharpness, and white balance. The
picture sharpness can be changed on a per-programme basis. The
values for the other options are fixed.
Differences between these options and "Personal":
- "During the day": maximum contrast and changed white balance
- "In the evening": reduced contrast and changed white balance
- "Soft": changed picture sharpness, noise reduction and contrast
5.2 Picture Sharpness
Call up the "PICTURE SETTINGS" menu with the red button and select
"Sharpness P."
The picture sharpness can be changed in three steps with the
buttons.
5.3 Perfect Clear
With the red button call up the "PICTURE SETTINGS" menu and select
"Perfect Clear".
With the
buttons this function can be switched on or off.
