In the automation solution, the street light is controlled with a LOGO! 8 connected
to a LOGO! CMR.
Setting a manual street light control (user-defined mode) or an automatic control
(astro clock mode) can be performed via SMS or LOGO! TDE.
In astro clock mode, the street light is switched off in the morning and back on at
night using the "Astronomical clock" function.
In user-defined mode, a user-defined time of day can be entered via LOGO!
display or LOGO! TDE at which the street light shall be switched on, the day after.
The time of day of the LOGO! controller is synchronized with an NTP server using
LOGO! CMR so LOGO! constantly has the correct UTC time.
