MP3/JPEG/DivX® operation
MP3 CD playback

Place a CD-R/RW on which MP3 files have been
recorded onto the disc tray, or insert a Media
card on which MP3 files have been recorded into
the appropriate media card slot on the front
panel.
Note: When a Media card is first inserted, the unit
is changed to the CARD mode automatically.

the CARD mode.

• When PLAY has been pressed after displaying the file
menu, or when the disc tray has been closed using
PLAY, playback begins automatically starting from the
first file. In this case, if the first file is an MP3 file, only
MP3 files are played back in order. If the first file is a
JPEG/DivX® file, the first JPEG/DivX® file is played
back.

• If you press STOP again, unload the disc or change
the DVD mode to the CARD mode, the unit will clear
the stopped point.
To eject the Media card
Confirm the Media card is not in use now. Pull the card out
slowly and straight.
Note:
Do not remove the card while it is in use. If removed while in
use, information on the card may be lost.

Notes:
• The picture menu is displayed when the FUJICOLOR CD
or the Kodak Picture CD are played. To display the file
menu, press TOP MENU.
• In the case of a CD containing a mixture of MP3, JPEG
and DivX® files, the files are played back by selecting them
from the file menu.
• MP3 file on the Kodak Picture CD is not recognized on this
unit.
Notes:
• During MP3/JPEG Playback, you can not use SEARCH, A-B
Repeat functions.
• You can use Repeat (Track or All), Random functions and
Program playback for MP3/JPEG/DivX® CD Playback (see
pages 45 and 46).
• In the case of a CD containing a mixture of MP3, JPEG and
DivX® files, the files are played back by selecting them from
the file menu.
• When the Media card is inserted into both card slots, the
card slot that is first inserted is read. If you want to playback
the Media in the other card slot, eject the Media card from
the other card slot.
CAUTION
Do not insert any foreign objects into the Media card slot as this
can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.

Customizing the function settings

You can change the default settings to customize performance to your preference.

Slide show playback
The slide show enables you to view pictures (files) one after
another automatically.
Preparation:
• Set "JPEG Interval" setting to "5 Seconds", "10 Seconds"
or "15 Seconds" see page 57.

Select your desired starting file for the slide
show in the step 3 as left.

Press ENTER to start slide show from the se-
lected file.
• If you press PAUSE during the slide show, the slide
show stops temporary. " 4 " appears briefly on the pic-
ture.
If the picture appears upside down or sideways, press
ANGLE repeatedly until it's right side up.

again to resume the slide show.
• When the slide show playback finished the file list ap-

• To stop the slide show, press STOP. The file list ap-

To eject the Media card
