Preparing the Machine

Procedure
1. Park the machine on a level surface.
2. Disengage the PTO, engage the parking brake.
3. Shut off the engine and remove the key.
4. For easier access, raise the front of the machine
and support it using jack stands rated for your
machines.
WARNING
Mechanical or hydraulic jacks may fail to
support the machine and cause serious
injury.
Use jack stands when supporting the
machine.

Procedure
1. Remove the existing mower blades; refer to the
Operator's Manual for the machine.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts securing the
baffle to the deck and remove the baffle

Note:
Retain the baffle for converting back to
side discharge.
