Side head restraint (example: Saloon)
Use the side head restraints in accordance
with the instructions in table (
Fitting side head restraints

Slide head restraint ; upwards and posi-
tion it upright.

Slide side head restraints B from the front
to the centre of both head restraint bars
until they engage.
Right- and left-hand lock verification indi-
cators = must be folded in. The red surfa-
ces are no longer visible.

Make sure that side head restraint B is
engaged in both head restraint bars.

Storing the ICS padded play table and
the side head restraint
On vehicles with a TIREFIT kit, for example,
you can store the side head restraints in the
stowage compartment under the boot floor

Suitable positioning of the child
restraint systems
Only child restraint systems which are
approved in accordance with the ECE stand-
ard ECE R44 are permitted for use in the vehi-
cle.

Fitting a child restraint system on the
front-passenger seat: move the front-
passenger seat to its lowest, rearmost posi-
tion.

Move the belt height adjustment to the low-
est position.
Suitability of the seats for attaching bel-
ted child restraint systems
Key to the letters used in the following table:
X Seat which is unsuitable for children in
this weight category.
U Suitable for child restraint systems in the
"Universal" category that are approved
