Read instruction manual first! Disconnect battery pack from tool before
making any assembly, adjustments or changing accessories.
PROBLEM
Saw will not start
Excessive vibration
Cannot make square
cut when crosscutting
Cut binds, burns,
stalls motor when
ripping
Blade slipping

Troubleshooting

CAUSE
1. Battery pack not charged.
2. Battery pack not installed
properly.
3. Battery pack temperature
is too hot or cold for
operation.
4. Burned out switch.
5. Trigger does not turn
tool on.
1. Blade out of balance.
2. Workpiece not clamped
or supported properly.
1. Foot plate not adjusted
properly.
1. Dull blade with
improper tooth set.
2. Warped board.
3. Blade binds.
4. Improper workpiece
support.
1. Tool does not cut
workpiece.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Charge battery if needed.
2. Confirm battery is locked and secured
to the tool.
3. Let battery sit a few minutes or until it
reaches
normal
temperature.
4. Have switch replaced by an
Authorized Bosch Service Center or
Service Station.
5. Disengage lock-off button 2 as
described on page 24

blade.
2. Clamp or support workpiece as
shown on pages 26–29.
