Configuring VLANs

To create a new VLAN:
* Note: Valid VLAN numbers are between 1 and 3071.
To delete a VLAN:

1. Click
. A new VLAN appears in the list.
2. Enter a name and number for the VLAN into the appropriate fields.
The VLAN is added immediately.
1. Select the VLAN you want to delete.
2. Ensure that there are no ports associated with the VLAN.
3. Right-click on the VLAN symbol and select
deleted.
1. Select the VLAN whose name you want to edit.
2. Right-click on the VLAN symbol and select

3. Enter the new name for the VLAN.
4. Click

. The VLAN name is changed.
1. Click on one or more ports in the Chassis View or Tree View.
2. Drag the ports until they are over a VLAN icon in the tree.
1. Drag ports from existing VLANs to the desired VLAN's icon. The
ports are added to the desired VLAN in the tree.
