Using the Touch-Screen Display

The powerquilter™ 1600 has a color touch-screen display
on the front of the machine. Setti ngs are changed using
this display.

The Machine is in Manual Mode when the
M is green.

(A) Pause/Play Indicator

The Pause/Play butt on on the bott om right of the screen
may be used to start and stop the machine instead of the
foot controller. When the butt on is pressed, the machine
will start even if the foot controller is not pressed, and the
symbol on the butt on will change from the play arrow to a
A
double line pause icon. The butt on color will also change
to green. When the butt on is pressed again, the machine
will stop and the symbol on the butt on will change back
to the play icon with a white background color.
When the machine foot controller is pressed, the
butt on color and icon show that the machine is running
by changing the butt on to the pause icon and green
background. When the foot controller is released, this
butt on will return to the blue butt on with the play icon.

(B) My Speed

My Speed Indicator is the current selected maximum speed the machine will run when the foot pedal
is fully depressed. The value displayed will vary as you press and release the foot pedal. The maximum
sti tches per minute that is displayed is controlled by this limit that is set for the machine.

(C) Limit Controls

The Limit Controls encompass two main features, the My Speed controls and Preset butt ons. The My
Speed controls consist of "+" and "–" butt ons and the white My Speed display box. Pressing the "+" butt on
will increase the maximum motor speed the pedal controls. Pressing the "–" butt on will decrease the
maximum speed.
