User registration and activation of the
ŠKODA Connect services
Functionality
User registration will provide you with a ŠKODA ID
user account that can be used in all ŠKODA applica-
tions and services.
The user registration of the ŠKODA Connect serv-
ices is done in the ŠKODA Connect application.
When registering, create an S-PIN.
You need the S-PIN to register for certain ŠKODA
Connect services.

User registration and activation of online services
ŠKODA Connect take place on the website ŠKODA
Connect Portal or in the application ŠKODA Con-
nect.
To complete user registration, access to the e-
mail box entered during registration is required.
Activation of online services
In order to aktivieren ŠKODA Connect online serv-
ices, proceed as follows.

The ŠKODA Connect application is switched on in
the mobile device.
›
Select the option Add vehicle select and follow
the instructions in the application.

Remote access to the vehicle

Usage
The service relating to remote access to the vehicle
offers the possibility of remotely controlling certain
vehicle functions and accessing vehicle information.
Available functions include, for example, the follow-
ing.
Trip overviews.

Overview of the vehicle condition.
▶
Localization service for determining vehicle posi-

tion.
Remote charging of the vehicle.

Remote control of the air conditioning system.

Requirements
The service and the coupled functions are available
depending on the following conditions.

✓ The high-voltage battery charging status is suffi-
cient.
✓ The charging plug is not plugged into the charg-
ing socket of the vehicle.

Keep the brake pedal depressed.

As soon as the engine starts up, release the key.
The engine starting is displayed as follows.
At the same time, an audible signal is emitted.

In the instrument cluster display READY is displayed

NOTICE
With very low outdoor temperatures, the tempera-
ture of the high-voltage battery may drop so low
that it may no longer be possible to start the engine.
Starting the engine again is only possible when the
temperature of the high-voltage battery has risen
sufficiently.
CAUTION
Danger of unexpected vehicle movement!
At temperatures below -10°C, start the vehicle
