Background Information
In furtherance of the company policy of continual development, the two Printed
Circuit Boards (PCB) in use in the WP10 /TP10, E03181 and the WP30 / TP20 /
TP30, E03178, have been re-engineered to improve quality and reliability.
Compatibility Problem
As a result of the re-engineering the new PCBs are physically smaller. The
case fitting screws had to remain extant to permit retro fitting, consequently the
wiring looms are too short to permit comfortable connection to the PCB.
Solution
Boards supplied as spares have been prepared with 8cm of wire soldered to
each connection, free ends stripped and tinned with sleeving fitted to each.
Procedure
The existing wiring looms should be colour matched, soldered in line and the
joint insulated by adjusting the sleeving to fit over the bared area.
