Preparation
1. Connect each device referring to the figure in Section
4-1-2 in the power off state.
2. Connect the PC card adaptor with the Memory Stick
(the updating program is written) inserted to the PC
card slot of the SNT-1 board.

Do not write the updating program in the folder that
already exists in the Memory Stick.
The updating program consists of the two folders,
"web" and "system". When writing it in the Memory
Stick, do not change the configuration of folders.
3. Turn on the power of the unit while pressing the
switch S153 on the SNT-1 board.
4. Check that the power indicator (green: D163/SNT-1
board) is lit (indicating the normal mode).
5. Start the PC.
6. Change the network setting of the PC as follows, and
then restart the PC.
IP address: 192.168.10.200
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Updating
1. Start up the web browser in the PC.

Set the proxy setting of the web browser to "No
proxy".
2. Type the following command in the web browser
address, and then press the Enter key.
http://192.168.10.11/home/14/systemlog.html
. When the authentication window is displayed, type
"admin" in the user name and password, and then
click on the [OK] button.
3. When updating the software version, POWER indica-
tor (D163/SNT-1 board) and NETWORK indicators
(D161 and D162/SNT-1 board) should be blinking.
After completing the writing, POWER indicator
(D163/SNT-1 board) should be lit in green.
4. Type the following command in the web browser
address, and then press the Enter key.
http://192.168.10.11/home/14/systemlog.html
. When the authentication window is displayed, type
"admin" in the user name and password, and then
click on the [OK] button.
5. Check that the software version is updated and the
following four digit log is displayed.
[SYSTEM] System program version has been
updated.
[SYSTEM] Web contents version has been updated.
[SYSTEM] Environmental information is initialized.
[SYSTEM] Restarted.
6. Type "http://192.168.10.11/index_snt10.html" in the
web browser address, and then press the Enter key.
The welcome page is displayed.
7. Click "ActiveX viewer" to display the main viewer
page.
8. Check that the image of the 360d camera is properly
displayed on the main viewer.
9. Disconnect the PC card adaptor with the Memory
Stick inserted, from the PC card slot of the unit.
