Apply Power

Apply power only to the base. Configure the I/O. See Section 2.5 on
configuring the I/O.
Now that the terminal block is installed and the module is configured,
restore all user-supplied power to the base.
NOTE: If more than one module is to be installed, do not restore power until
all modules have been installed.
If no problems are detected when power is supplied to the module, the
status indicator on the front of the module lights. If the status indicator is
not on or goes out during operation, the module has detected a failure. To
correct the failure, refer to Chapter 3 on troubleshooting.
