5.5.2 System Log

This page allows you to export the system logs to specific destination by means of
syslog (UDP) and SMTP (TCP).
IP Address for Syslogd: Enter the destination IP Address where the syslogd will be
sent. Be sure to check the Enable box. (This is for use with linux/unix based network
environments only)
SMTP Server IP and Port: Input the SMTP server IP and port. If you do not specify a
port number, the default value (25) is used. You can get this information from your
internet service provider.
E-mail From: Enter the email address you want to appear in the "From" box in your
email alert.
Send E-mail to: Enter the email address where you would like your email alerts sent.
E-Mail Subject: Enter what you would like to appear in the subject of your email alerts.
Username and Password: Enter the username and password for your outgoing email
account. You can get this information from your internet service provider.
