Description
Normally, the PnP resources are
allocated by BIOS during the POST
(Power-on self-test). If you are using
a PnP operating system (such as
Windows 95/98), set this item to Yes
to inform BIOS to configure only the
resources needed for booting (VGA/
IDE or SCSI). The rest of the system
resources will be allocated by the
PnP operating system.
Setting this option to Manual allows
you to individually assign the IRQs
and DMAs to the ISA and PCI
devices. Set this to Auto to enable
the auto-configuration function.
