> Tap «Plus».
– The altered values will be displayed in a new profile.
> Confirm entries.
> Enter and confirm profile name.
– The data will be saved. The new profile will be displayed in the profile overview.
> Close the window.
Deleting a user profile
> Tap «User profile».
> Tap «Info» next to the profile to be deleted.
– The profile will be displayed.
> Tap «Deleting a user profile».
– The selected profile will be deleted and will no longer appear in the profile overview.

> Tap «User profile».
> Tap the required user profile.
– The number of the selected profile will be displayed. The profile settings will be adopted as new basic
values.

3.12 Quilting modes

Your quilting machine has three BSR quilting modes and a manual mode available. BSR stands for BERNINA
Stitch Regulator. The BSR ensures uniform stitch lengths, no matter how quickly you move the machine. To
achieve uniform stitch lengths, two optical sensors in the stitch plate measure the movement of the fabric in
relation to the stitch plate. Based on this sensor data, the BSR regulates the speed at which the needle
moves.
BSR1
BSR1 is the standard mode. This mode is particularly suitable for quilt patterns with many changes of
direction. It allows uniform quilting even when the machine stops briefly at the turning point of a pattern,
because the machine does not immediately switch off if the sensors do not register any movement between
the fabric and stitch plate.
With BSR1 mode, you can adjust the required number of stitches per inch and the idle speed at which the
needle continues sewing when the machine comes to a halt.
BSR2
In BSR2 mode, the needle remains stationary if the sensors do not register any movement between the fabric
and stitch plate, and immediately starts sewing again once the sensors register movement.
NOTICE! The machine starts sewing immediately even if the machine has been moved
unintentionally, by touching the frame.
With BSR2 mode, you can set only the required number of stitches per inch.
BSR3
BSR3 mode is a basting mode. In basting mode, you can choose between three stitch lengths:
