2. When the reset process finishes, it should
clear the paper jam.
Your KODaK sMIle printer is also equipped
with a special release on the top panel to
retrieve paper in case of paper jams.
NOTE: Manually removing paper from
the printer head is not recommended

and should only be done once you've
tried resetting the printer in the way
recommended above. Please be advised
that removing paper in this manner can
damage the printer head, and you should be
extraordinarily careful while doing this.
1. Hold the printer with the ridged panel
toward you. Make sure the top panel is
closed and the printer is off.
2. Press down gently, but firmly, with both
thumbs in the center of the panel (right
about where the KODaK logo is found).
3. Push the panel away from you. It should
lift off, exposing the paper in the printing
area.
4. as gently as possible, try to remove the
jammed paper and replace the panel by
sliding it back into place until it clicks. DO
nOt YanK tHe PaPer.
