Place each cartridge into the cartridge slot based on their respective

colors.
Push the cartridge into the slot until you hear the click sound.

Pull the paper cassette tray from the bottom of the printer; slide back

the tray cover to lift it up.
Place a paper stack into the tray and adjust the paper guides.

Lower the tray cover and slide the paper cassette tray into the printer.

Do not connect the Epson Artisan 835 printer to the computer now.

Open the autoplay window and run the Setup.exe file.

Follow the on-screen commands and double-click on the Epson icon.


Once the cartridge installation is complete, lower the scanner unit.

Inside the paper tray, you will find the paper guides. Gently squeeze the

edges inside the tray and slide it to the edges.
Take the fax cord that came along with the printer, connect it to the

phone wall jack and to the LINE port of the printer.
Software Setup:
Place the installation CD into the CD/DVD drive of your computer.

When the setup screen opens, click the Install button.

Follow the prompts and complete the software setup.

