AFPX-COM5 Upgrade Procedure (1

【Please make sure to check before version upgrade.】

[Introduction]

This is the procedure manual for upgrading Ver 1.00 of AFPX-COM5.

[Configuration setting]

1) Install the latest ConfiguratorWD.

The ConfiguratorWD (Ver 1.21) is used for version upgrade. If you are using an older version than

Ver1.21, please download the latest version from our website.

2) Connect directly to a PC with an Ethernet cable.

Confirm that the Link/Act of AFPX-COM5 and the LED of SPD light up.

Note) The LED of SPD turns off when connection has been established using 10BASE-T

) Set an IP address that can be communicated with the PC.

[Recommended setting]

4) Disable the firewa

Start > Settings >

Page 2 Precaution Do not unplug the cable or turn off the power supply during the upgrade! If the upgrade is failed, programs within the AFPX-COM5 may be damaged and may not be activated. In that case, please contact our Sales Representative.
Page 3 The pop-up appears. STEP4 Select the firmware “fpxct.bin” for the upgrade, and press the open button. [The upgrade starts.] STEP5 Please wait without doing any other operations. (approx. 2 - 3 minutes) Although the screen of ConfiguratorWD may be ERR LED disturbed (freezing) during this process, please wait.
