Deleting a Title

Follow these instructions to delete an entry from the Title List.

Using the TITLE LIST button
1. With the unit in Stop mode/Playback mode, press the TITLE LIST
EXIT
button.
Press the ▲▼ buttons to select an entry you want to delete in the Title

List, then press the MARKER button until a checkmark appears. Repeat
this step to select an additional title you want to delete.

If you don't want to delete a certain one of the checked entries,
simply select that entry and press the MARKER to deselect it until a
checkmark disappears.

3. Press the RED(A) button to select Edit.
Edit menu is displayed.

4. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Delete, then press the OK or ► button.

The message may be diff erent depending on the type of disc. You
will be prompted with the confi rmation message.
DVD-RAM(VR mode), DVD-RW(VR mode) : The message "Do you
want to delete? (Related playlists may be deleted.)" is displayed.
EXIT
DVD-RW(V mode)/-R : The message "Do you want to delete?" is
displayed.
5. Press the ◄► buttons to select Yes, then press the OK button.

You cannot delete a protected entry. If you want to delete a
protected entry, select "Off " in the Title Protection menu.


When the Disc Protection has been set to Protected, you cannot
delete titles.
(See page 85)

Once an entry is deleted from the Title List it cannot be recovered.

Once DVD-RW/-R is fi nalised, it cannot be deleted.

With DVD-R, titles are only deleted from the menu, however, the
Title remains physically on the disc.

If you select "Select All" in the Edit menu, all title will be checked.
