Case 3 : Connecting to an AV amplifi er
with a digital output jack
If your AV amplifi er has a Dolby Digital, MPEG2 or DTS
decoder and a digital input jack, use this connection. To
enjoy Dolby Digital, MPEG2 or DTS sound, you will need
to set up the audio settings. According to your amplifi er,
connect to an optical cable or a coaxial cable.

Connecting to AV 3 IN, DV input jack
This allows you to connect your DVD Recorder to other
external devices and view or record their outputs.

Case 1 : Connecting a VCR, Set-Top Box(STB), DVD
player or Camcorder to the AV 3 IN jacks

Connecting a VCR or external device to AV 3 IN jacks of
the DVD Recorder. You can record from connected
equipment (VCR, STB, DVD player or Camcorder).
