2-1. Preparations

2-1-1. Equipment Required

. Oscilloscope
Tektronix 2465 or equivalent
(band width: 350 MHz or more)
. NTSC, PAL, SECAM component signal generator
Tektronix TG2000 + AVG1 (optional module)
+AWVG1 (optional module) or equivalent
. VG (Programmable video signal generator)
VG814 or equivalent
. Digital voltmeter
Advantest TR6845 or equivalent
. Luminance meter

Perform the following adjustments at least 5 minutes after
turning on the power.

2-1-2. Setting the Factory Mode

1. Check that the STATUS is ON in MENU.
2. Exit MENU.
3. Press the keys in the following order;
"ENTER" → "ENTER" → "
4. The message "Do you wish to enter into the FACTO-
RY MODE?" YES : 9 NO : 0 will be displayed.
5. Select YES : 9.
6. When returning from FACTORY MODE to the USER
MODE, repeat the Step 3.
7. The message "Do you wish to return into the USER
MODE? YES : 9 NO : 0 will be displayed.
8. Select YES : 9.

2-2. Highland Mode Setting

In case this model uses above sea level more than 1500
meter, set the model to the Highland Mode as follow items.
This model can be used above sea level more than from
1500 m to 2600 m.
Procedure
1. Enter the FACTORY mode.
2. Select Other of device adjust on the menu and depress
