4 Parameterizing LOGO!
By parameterization we mean setting the parameters of blocks. You can
set delay times for time functions, switching times for clocks (time
switches) and the threshold value of a counter.
You can set the parameters:
S
In programming mode
S
In parameterization mode
In parameterization mode, the programmer sets a value for a parameter.
We introduced parameterization mode so that parameters can be changed
without having to change the program. In this way, a caretaker can change
times, for example, without having to change into programming mode.
The advantage of this is that the program (and thus the circuit) is protected
but can still be modified by the user of the circuit to suit requirements.
Note
LOGO! continues to execute the program in parameterization mode.
