ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS)
Removing the hydraulic unit
1. Remove:
S Brake hose (Front IN) 1
S Brake hose (Front OUT) 2
S Brake hose (Rear IN) 3
S Brake hose (Rear OUT) 4
NOTE:
Do not operate the brake lever while removing the
brake hose.
CAUTION:
Remove the brake hose after covering the sur-
rounding area of hydraulic unit by using
wastes not to allow the brake fluid to attach
other components.
2. Remove:
S Hydraulic unit 1
NOTE:
To avoid the brake fluid leakage and foreign mate-
rials mixing, attach the rubber plug a to the union
bolt hole.
Checking 2 the hydraulic unit
1. Check:
S Hydraulic unit 1
Cracks and damage ! Replace the hydraulic
unit
