Product Data
Cause of Error
• The Indoor Air Thermistor Error
occurs when the indoor temperature
is ≤-35°C or ≥100°C.
• The Indoor Coil Thermistor Error
occurs when the indoor pipe
temperature is ≤ -35°C or ≥ 100°C.
• Interference (Twisted / Non-
separation) of AC Line and wired
remote control line
• Poor contact / Disconnection of
wired remote control (DC Line) and
PCBA harness
• PCBA harness flooding / corrosion
• Remote control fault
• Indoor unit PCBA fault
• No power on indoor unit
• Indoor/outdoor unit power
connection error / communication
line not installed
• unit communication Communication
error caused by external noise
• Indoor/outdoor circuit parts burned
• The Thermostat Wiring Error has
occurred if the PTAC receives
control commands that cannot be
driven from the Thermostat.
• The EEPROM Check Sum Errors
occurs when the original check sum
and calculated check sum do not
match.
• The Indoor Fan Error occurs when
there is not feedback signal from
Hall sensor located in BLDC Motor
in 50 seconds delay time or
feedback signal lower than 50RPM
(applied in models using the BLDC
Motor).
• Over load operation (indoor /
outdoor fan constraint, screened,
blocked, cycle issue)
• Refrigerant leak
• Disconnection / shot-circuit inside
compressor Compressor failure
• Burned parts inside PCBA (IPM
failure)
PTAC
Check Point
• Check the error after change sensor.
• Check the insertion of PCB Connector
Wafer.
• Check the error after change sensor.
• Check the insertion of PCB Connector
Wafer.
• Check the molding status of the wired
remote control wire.
• Check the interference status with DC
line (Twisted / Mixed / Non-separation)
• Check communication cable problem
• Check harness Flooding / corrosion
• Check Remote control fault
• Check Indoor unit PCBA fault
• Disconnection of the transmission
connection
• Improper connection of terminal block
communication wire
• Improper wiring of communication L-N
wire (indoor /outdoor unit
communication wire)
• No power supply due to indoor /
outdoor unit PCBA burn
• Check the connection with Themostat
comparing with manual.
• Check the insertion of EEPROM.
• Unplug and plug the power code
• Check the insertion of BLDC
Connector.
• Check whether the output voltage
between the two terminals 4-5pins in
CN-MOTOR-ODF is 15V.
• Check whether the output voltage
between the two terminals 4-6pins is
over 2V.
• Check whether the output voltage
between the two terminals 4-7pins is
exist or not.
• Check indoor / outdoor fan constraint,
screened / flow structure
• Check refrigerant leakage
• Check compressor wire open/short
• Check compressor insulation damage
• Check if IPM burned
