Installation

WARNING
High pressure! Injury to skin and eyes possible! Be careful when opening
connections on a pressurized item.
Copeland large outdoor OM(T)E &OL(T)E condensing units are delivered with a holding charge of
neutral gas.
The condensing unit should be in such a place to prevent any dirt, dust, plastic bag, leaves or
papers from covering the condenser and its fins.
The unit must be installed without restricting the airflow.
A clogged condenser will increase the condensing temperature, thus reduce the cooling capacity,
and lead to a high-pressure switch tripping. Clean the condenser fins on a regular basis.
