Assigning Privileges

You must assign privileges or verify that system administrators and providers
have the correct privileges for using the Olympus recorder.
The privileges required to use the Olympus Uploader application are:
User Type
Providers and Execute
Administrators
Administrators Assign all users to portable
Assigning Provider Privileges
If you have an existing administrative group for providers, you can edit that
group and add the required privilege (which is Olympus Uploader:
Execute) or you can create an administrative group just for Olympus
providers.
Assigning Administrator Privileges
Modify the administrative group for the administrators by adding both the
Olympus Uploader: Execute and the Olympus Uploader: Assign all
users to portable privileges.
The instructions below are for modifying an existing group.
To assign the necessary privileges to the Administration group when
using EXVoice Version 6.5 or 7.x:
1. Open EXVoice Explorer and go to Site > Administration Group,
where Site is the site containing the DS-4000 providers.
2. Right-click the group name in the right pane and select Modify Group
from the shortcut menu. The Modifying administration group dialog
box opens.
3. Click the Privileges tab.

Olympus portable recorder.
