After removing the new cartridge from its packing, shake it seven
to eight times to free the toner.
Note
Be sure to shake the Laser Print Cartridge as directed to
distribute the toner inside the cartridge. Print quality may be
degraded if the toner is not evenly distributed.
4.
Place the cartridge on a flat surface. With one hand, press down
the cartridge. With the other hand, grasp the end tab of the sealing
tape and pull the tape straight out horizontally.
