    Setting Up the Projector Follow the instructions in these sections to set up your projector for use. If you are connecting a different streaming device and it does not have a USB 2.0 Micro-B power port, use the USB power cable that came with the device. If you experience any trouble displaying images at 18 Gbps, change the EDID setting to Normal.

    1. Connect the HDMI cable to the ARC-compatible HDMI port on your external speakers or A/V receiver. Caution: Use only the type of batteries specified in this manual.

    You can project over a wireless network. To do this, you must set up your projector and computer for wireless projection. Note: The Epson 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN module is not included with your projector and is optional. To connect wirelessly to your projector, configure the connection using the projector's Network menus.

    Installing the Wireless LAN Module To use the projector over a wireless network, install the Epson 802.11b/g/n wireless module in the projector. Do not install any other type of wireless module. Caution: Never remove the module while its indicator light is blue or flashing, or while you are projecting wirelessly.
