How to perform a nozzle check

1) Tape a piece of standard size paper (8 ½" X 11") to the
cassette.
2) Press the Menu button on the control panel
3) Press the up or down arrow keys on the control panel until
Maintenance appears in the display
4) Press the # (Enter) Key on the control panel
5) Press the up or down arrow keys on the control panel until
Nozzle Check appears on the display.
6) Press the # (Enter) Key on the control panel
7) Press the Start Key on the control panel will print. Pressing
the escape key will get out of the menu options
If some of the horizontal lines in the pattern are missing you
may need to perform a head clean. To do this:
When in the Maintenance menu (steps 2-4 above)
1) Press the up or down arrow keys on the control panel
until Head cleaning appears on the display.
2) Press the # (Enter) Key on the control panel
3) Press the up or down key to select all heads, head 1 or
head 2.
4) Press the # (Enter) Key – Press the # (Enter) key again to
start the cleaning.
