B Preparation

Preparing the Memory Stick

When you save the presentation materials created in the Projector Station to a
Memory Stick, you can use your Projector's Memory Stick slot.
First, connect an AC power cord to the projector and connect the projector to the
computer with a USB cable, then insert a Memory Stick into your projector's
Memory Stick slot before you start using the Projector Station.
You can also use the following Memory Stick slots:
• A Memory Stick slot in your computer
• An external USB device or an adaptor for the Memory Stick

Using the Projector's Memory Stick Slot

When you connect the computer and the projector with a USB cable:
Use the proper cable that has the correct connectors.
First, connect the projector and the computer using the USB cable.
Then insert a Memory Stick into the Memory Stick of the projector.
For details about inserting a Memory Stick, refer to the Operating Instructions
for the Memory Stick.
Notes
• If you turn on the computer while the projector and the computer are connected
to the USB cable, the computer may not start correctly. If this happens, turn off
the computer, disconnect the cable and restart the computer. Then connect the
cable again.
• There is no guarantee that all recommended computers will work properly.
• If you connect multiple projectors that have Memory Stick function to the
computer, you cannot transfer the data from the computer to the Memory Stick
via the USB cable.
