PROBABLE CAUSE/SOLUTION
• Coffeemaker needs cleaning.
• Too much or too little ground coffee or coffee beans to the amount of water.
• Poor ground coffee or coffee bean quality and freshness.
• Poor water quality (use filtered or bottled water).
• Overfilled water reservoir. Also check cup used to fill reservoir. Some mugs/cups do not pour
cleanly and can dribble water down the side of the cup and onto counter.
• No water in water reservoir. Add water. If there is no water in the water reservoir and a brew
button is pushed, the unit will not brew.
• Make sure all parts are in place and basket holder is in the correct position.
• Push lid down to latch in place.
• Adjust water/coffee ratio by using slightly less water and/or more grounds.
• Use less ground coffee or coffee beans.
• To prevent coffee overflowing from a mug/travel mug, ensure the SAME cup into which coffee
will be brewed is also used to fill the water reservoir.
• Remove the sieve according to instructions on page 8.
• If coffee beans are in grinding chamber, use a small rubber scraper to push any beans down
through the opening.
