To Clean EVS Sensor Windows
1.
Apply mild liquid soap and water or isopropyl alcohol, then wipe away
with a soft, cotton cloth.
2.
Dry the sensor windows using a dry non-abrasive cotton cloth.

Engine Compartment

Before cleaning the engine compartment, place a strip of tape on the
magneto vents to prevent any solvent from entering these units.
The engine exterior and compartment may be cleaned with a dry cleaning
solvent, MIL-PRF-680 Type II.
To Clean Engine Compartment
1.
Place a large pan under the engine to catch waste.
2.
Remove induction air filter and seal off induction system inlet.
3.
With the engine cowling removed, spray or brush the engine with
solvent or a mixture of solvent and degreaser. In order to remove espe-
cially heavy dirt and grease deposits, it may be necessary to brush areas
that were sprayed.

rinse engine clean with additional solvent and allow it to dry.

Landing Gear

Before cleaning the landing gear, place a plastic cover or similar material
over the wheel and brake assembly.
To Clean Landing Gear
1.
Place a pan under the gear to catch waste.
2.
Spray or brush the gear area with solvent or a mixture of solvent and
degreaser, as desired. Where heavy grease and dirt deposits have
