Replacing Bulbs
To rem ove, push the bulb in and turn
to the left, then lift the bulb out.
To install, grip the bulb with a paper
tissue or sim ila r cloth, align the pins
on the base of the bulb with the
grooves in the bulb socket, push in
lightly and turn to the right until the
stop is felt.
Install only bulbs of prescribed

H eadlight A im ing
C orrect headlight aim ing is of

roadw orthiness o fth e car. Check and
readjust headlights at regular
intervals and invariably when a lam p
has been replaced.

Loosen securing screws 2 and detach
cover 1.

High and low beam sealed-beam
unit (type 2):
Loosen clam ping screws 7,
rem ove retaining ring and unit,
d isconnect plug and socket on
unit.

High beam sealed-beam unit
(type 1):
Loosen clam ping screws 8,
rem ove retaining ring and unit,
disconnect plug and socket on
unit.

Bulb fo r turn signal, clearance
(standing) and side m arker lights:
Loosen knurled nut (10) in engine
co m partm ent, push housing (11)
forw ard and detach.
