IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read these instructions before operating the appliance
and retain them for future use.
This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

surface.
• Care is required when using the appliance on surfaces that
may be damaged by heat. The use of an insulated pad is
recommended.

Variable temperature control
The variable temperature control allows you to change the heat
setting for cooking different types of food. A low temperature setting

Locking and unlocking the step hinge
The floating step hinge must be unlocked
sandwich press otherwise the lid cannot be opened. The weight of
the top cooking plate will gradually press down on the sandwich
during cooking, unless you have moved the floating step hinge to
position 1, 2, or 3. When storing or transporting the sandwich press,
the floating step hinge must be locked .
