Transmitting a manual announcement / Triggering an
evacuation with a manual announcement
1. Remove the microphone from the housing.
a All zones are selected for this alarm message.
2. Press the talk button on the microphone and hold the talk button while
talking into the microphone at a normal sound level.
a The microphone is activated.
a Already active announcements or background music are deactivated.
a A manual announcement is made in all zones.
3. Release the talk button after the announcement.
a The microphone is deactivated.
4. Put the microphone back in the housing.
Playing a recorded announcement / Triggering an evacuation
with a recorded announcement
1. Press a button labeled with the required announcement.
a Already active announcements are deactivated in all zones.
a The announcement is made in all zones.
a With the corresponding configuration, the announcement is also emitted
via the integrated speaker.
a The announcement is continually repeated.
2. Press <RESET / ACOUSTIC OFF> to end the announcement.
Resetting the fault message
w LED 'FAULT' lights up.
