The ↑ voice alarm control and indicating equipment (VACIE) or voice alarm
system has the following operating conditions:
● Quiescent condition
● Voice alarm condition
● Fault warning condition
Indicating element colors
The light-emitting indicating elements display operating conditions as follows:
Color ↑ Operating condition
Red ↑ Voice alarm condition
Yellow ↑ Fault warning condition
Green ↑ Quiescent condition
VACIE is supplied with energy
Evacuation messages and alert messages
Automatic voice messages for evacuation messages and alert messages are
indicated as follows:
Color Operating condition
Red Evacuation messages
Yellow Alert messages
Fault warning condition and RSL
Causes of a fault being displayed are defined in the ↑ 'RSL when the system
is configured with 'PACE-Design'.
